Petition Issued

Today Elections BC issued the petition for the Initiative to Amend the Fire and Police Services Collective Bargaining Act to include ambulance service paramedics and dispatchers.

If you are a registered canvasser, blank petition forms and instructions are being sent out electronically through email.

If you did not provide an email address on your registration form, or if you provided a BCEHS email address, you will need to send us a new email address to receive the blank forms. Regional Team Leads will be working the phones this week to get your forms to you.

If you would like to update your email address, please do so by emailing with the updated information.

If you would like to receive paper copies of the blank petition forms by mail, you can request them by calling 778-773-1844 and leaving a message.

Canvasser Registration

We are currently receiving many canvasser registration forms daily (don’t slow down, we need more!), and it may take anywhere from 5 to 15 business days before you get your credentials mailed out after we receive your form. We appreciate your patience, but don’t hesitate to contact us at if you don’t have your credentials after a couple of weeks.

We have good numbers across the province, but many hands make light work. If you’ve registered to canvass, we ask that you try your hardest to find 1 or 2 friends or family members that may be willing to register to canvass to help us achieve a better ambulance service.

Thank you again for all of the support!
